DMCA policy

ReadFast respects copyright. Our Discover catalog is intended for public-domain and openly licensed works, and user uploads are private to the uploading account unless explicitly shared.

Report alleged infringement

Send DMCA notices to dmca@read.fast. To help us act quickly, include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you believe was infringed.
  • The ReadFast URL, catalog item, shared article, or other location of the material.
  • Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are authorized to act for the copyright owner.

What we do after a notice

We review complete notices, remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material when appropriate, and may notify the user or source owner connected to the material.

Counter-notices

If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact information, identification of the removed material, consent to jurisdiction where legally required, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake.

Repeat infringers and catalog sources

We may terminate repeat infringers. A DMCA process does not replace source review: crawler sources must still provide public-domain or open-license material suitable for redistribution.
