We collect information you provide directly, including:

• Account details such as your email address, login method, and password hash when you create an account.
• Content you submit, including uploaded files, pasted text, YouTube links, podcast links, and other source material you ask ReadFast to process.
• Output associated with your account, such as summaries, translations, audio, highlights, notes, progress, and saved library items.
• Billing and subscription records when you purchase a paid plan or knowledge point top-up. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor rather than stored directly by ReadFast.
• Communications you send us, including support, copyright, and privacy requests.

When you use ReadFast, we may automatically collect technical and usage information, such as:

• Device, browser, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and operating system information.
• Session cookies and similar identifiers used to keep you signed in, protect the service, remember preferences, and support limited free-use flows.
• Usage events such as sign-in activity, plan status, knowledge point usage, feature usage, and timestamps needed to operate the product and prevent abuse.
• Diagnostic logs used for security, reliability, debugging, and fraud prevention.

ReadFast may use YouTube content and Google API Services to support features such as YouTube link ingestion, transcript retrieval, video metadata, and discovery.

If you use those features, you acknowledge that Google may collect and process data in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy.

You can review and manage connected Google permissions at Google security settings.

We use collected information to:

• Provide the service, including ingesting source material, generating summaries, translations, and audio, syncing your library, and restoring your reading progress.
• Authenticate users, maintain accounts, process payments, enforce usage limits, and administer subscriptions.
• Improve the quality, safety, and performance of ReadFast, including debugging failures and analyzing feature usage.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, unauthorized access, fraud, and policy violations.
• Communicate with you about your account, transactions, service changes, and support requests.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following cases:

• With infrastructure and service providers that help us operate ReadFast, such as hosting, storage, authentication, payments, email delivery, and AI processing vendors.
• When you choose to share content publicly, such as creating a public shared article link.
• When required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
• To protect the rights, safety, security, and property of ReadFast, our users, or the public.
• As part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transfer, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal requirements.

Content you upload or create in ReadFast is treated as private to your account by default. If you explicitly publish or share a link, that shared content may become accessible to anyone with the URL and may be previewed by crawlers, browsers, or messaging platforms that unfurl links.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.

You may request deletion of your ReadFast account and associated private account data by contacting contact@zeus.rocks.

• Private account content is intended to be removed or de-identified within a reasonable period after a verified deletion request, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, and backup retention needs.
• Shared links or publicly exposed content should be disabled before deletion where applicable, but copies may persist temporarily in logs, caches, backups, or third-party previews.
• Some records may be retained where required by law or reasonably necessary for legitimate business purposes such as payment reconciliation, abuse prevention, and dispute resolution.

You can choose not to provide certain information, but some features may not work without it.

• You may disconnect or avoid using optional sign-in methods such as Google login.
• You may avoid creating public share links if you do not want content to be publicly accessible.
• You can usually control cookies through your browser, although disabling essential cookies may prevent sign-in or other core features from working correctly.

ReadFast is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

ReadFast and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. By using the service, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection rules than your own.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the date above and provide additional notice where appropriate.
